Ilkan Koral (b. 1991, Nicosia) is an emerging Cypriot fashion designer currently based in Madrid. Originally trained as a veterinarian, Koral transitioned to fashion, earning an MA in Fashion Design from CSDMM. With hands-on experience in styling and visual merchandising for Madrid-based and international brands, he now serves as the creative force behind ILKAN.KO, a brand he launched in 2024.

Koral’s designs bridge the gap between menswear and womenswear, offering adaptable pieces that flatter diverse body types. Skilled in textile arts, he employs techniques like macramé to create rich textures, promoting a sustainable, eco-conscious approach to fashion. His mixed techniques and material choices reflect his Cypriot roots, blending heritage and contemporary style. 

Deeply inspired by his culture, family, and surroundings, Koral’s work explores the intersection of tradition and modernity, making his designs a personal reflection of his life and emotions. In 2023, he showcased his project Camino at the REVIVE exhibition in Nicosia and London as an active member of the Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus. His latest collection, Allongé, was presented at the Cyprus Fashion Film Festival in June 2024.
